A private Weekend Immersion for 10 fathers and 10 sons. Two days away from screens, schedules, and stressful patterns at home. Two days to break down walls, help your son figure out what’s really troubling him, and rekindle the relationship that is so important for both of you.
10 Father / Son pairs only.
The yelling. Slammed doors. Failing grades. Disrespect. Risky friends. Weed. Screens. Video games. The “I don’t care” attitude.
You’ve tried talking, punishing, rewarding, therapy, and medication, with little to no results. You’re not alone, and it’s not necessarily your fault.
But if you don’t try something different, these patterns can become permanent, affecting his future and your own sanity for years to come.
The Back on Track Weekend Immersion is a two-day Father & Son intensive built around how teen-20s young men grow: through challenge, honesty, mentorship, and real time spent shoulder to shoulder with you and other Father-Son pairs in a challenging, supportive and transformative environment.
Sessions guiding fathers and sons to name what’s really going on. No blame, no performance. Just honest conversations that produce results.
Separate time with fathers addressing boundaries, consequences, and the specific co-parenting style that will benefit your son, you, and his mother.
Separate time with sons to uncover the events, ruptures, and silent wounds that have shaped the behavior making him unhappy, angry and apathetic.
Sons declare who they are choosing to become. We skillfully challenge your son to leave behind unhealthy beliefs and behaviors and acquire the skills he needs to overcome his fears about becoming an adult.
Delicious meals and snacks provided, with breaks and fun activities between work sessions both days.
Most young men today have never been formally welcomed into manhood by their father. No ceremony. No moment. No one looked him in the eye and said: I see you. I’m proud of you. You are ready.
Each son will be witnessed, named, and welcomed into manhood by his father, in front of a brotherhood of young men who have done the same work.
Sons who showed up Saturday morning feeling skeptical leave on Sunday afternoon hugging their fathers and thanking my team for helping them understand what they need to do to become the young man they’ve always wanted to be.
Tom Bresnahan has worked with more than 400 teen-20s young men and their parents over 13 years. Here's what that work has looked like for the families who committed to it.
My 20-year-old son had dropped out of college and was back home, unemployed and isolating in his room. I was worried but afraid to push. Tom mentored him, built up his confidence, and inspired him to find a job in a career he loves. I don’t think any of this would have happened without Tom’s support and guidance.
Our 16-year-old had been diagnosed with social anxiety disorder and the psychiatrist recommended medication immediately. Tom asked us not to use that label and helped him figure things out. He never went on medication. He now has lots of friends, plays sports, and recently said he wished he’d met Tom a few years earlier.
Therapy, psychiatry, and six different medications didn’t help. Feeling desperate, we tried Tom. After a year, our 17-year-old son had gotten off all his medications, lost 50 pounds, pulled his grades up to A’s and B’s, and was accepted to a prestigious university where he’s now on the Dean’s List. Tom gave us our son back.
